Thank you, Adilah!
This was precisely the kind of home-away-from-home — without all the distractions of home— that I needed. You’ve provided a quiet, calm, and cozy place to hole up and write, write, write. I’ve made enormous progress on my book manuscript, in terms of actual pages and increased conceptual clarity, and I couldn’t have done it without this precious (and all too rare!) time to reflect and dig deep.
Ms. Adilah Barnes,
I enjoyed my stay here during the Black Arts Festival Weekend with you. Jackie and Lynne. We did have a lovey dovey time with your family and friends at the HOTLANTA celebration for your name sake. We danced the night away on Friday and followed it up with a spectacular party at the house. I truly appreciate the invite and hospitality. As I grow as a writer and actress you will always be considered an inspiration. Thank you. I shall return. Until then I will Walk in Balance in your footsteps my friend and remember I’m loved. So it is. Ashe.
My how have I enjoyed my stay at your lovely home. From the moment I stepped off the plane and was greeted by Cytnthia and safely delivered home to stepping inside I have felt love, peace, tranquility and serenity engulfed with inspiration all around me, you, your friends and family.
Thank you for the Gift and the friendship that he’s bonded us with for so many years. I look forward to returning to Atlanta very soon.
